We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. A portion of these fields is described in the science of physics as the electromagnetic spectrum and range from long waves vibrating very slowly at the bottom of the spectrum, to very short, rapid waves measured as fractions of a centimeter at the high end of the spectrum.
